Sona Movsesian started working for Conan O’Brien as his executive assistant in 2009 when he moved to Los Angeles to take over hosting duties for The Tonight Show. During her time as his assistant, she was featured on the show many times, including an episode where Movsesian and O’Brien travel to Armenia. She later joined O’Brien on his podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, along with producer Matt Gourley. In 2022 she released her book The World’s Worst Assistant, which became an instant New York Times bestseller. She was born in Los Angeles and continues to live there with her husband, Tak; their twins, Mikey and Charlie; and their dog, Oki.
