ABOUT THE BOOK
We’re great believers in using creativity as a way to heal and as a guiding light in times of darkness.
And after the Eaton Fire, Altadena, California faced some pretty dark times.
That’s when the idea for burned took shape. In some ways, to use creativity to build something positive from all the sadness but also as a way to give back.
We care deeply about Altadena.
It’s a diverse community with a long, resilient history—one that even the fire cannot erase.
Burned was edited by Nick Davidge, who lost his home in the Eaton Fire, and Alana White, a longtime resident of Pasadena.
