Learden lives in Pasadena, CA with her husband and wonderful pets which include a dog, a tarantula, and two axolotls. She has worked for the Los Angeles County Crime Laboratory for over 25 years as a DNA analyst but her crime scene response days are thankfully behind her. She enjoys hiking, baking, and all things Halloween because she still has a taste for the macabre.
