Carl is an unabashed tree hugger and critter lover, and the current Programs Coordinator of the Pasadena Audubon Society. He got into birding several years ago to enhance his family's adventures in the great outdoors and has seen just under fourteen hundred species of birds. When he’s not birding, you can usually find him camping, working on word puzzles, taking in a soccer match, reading science-fiction, or making groan-worthy dad jokes.
